Just a Thought~This is an old family favorite that came from my mother in law. The first time I heard of it, I thought “not for me”. The first time I tried it, I thought even worse! My mother in law was a this and that kind of cook, she did not measure out the ingredients. So after years of looking for a recipe I came across this one. I promise it is great on hot biscuits. Be sure to follow the recipe to a “t”, so it will turn out tasty.
You can see, that our family likes our gravy to really taste like chocolate. You can use more or less cocoa for your tastes.
