Day Book for November 14, 2009

Outside my window... The sun is shining and drying everything out from all the rain that we have had this week.

I am thinking... About my husband and son, while they are rabbit hunting.

I am thankful for... So much!  I'm thankful that God led us to a good church, that cares about each other.

From the learning rooms... There is so much going on right now. There is a good bit of catching up and trying to stay ahead. Monkey is learning to put together a Level 2 model of The General Lee that a friend sent to him. I'll be learning how to spin. I got the spindle and the alpaca fiber in the mail yesterday.
From the kitchen... I did a big cooking project yesterday. I made a huge - I mean HUGE pot of Brunswick Stew, so we could enjoy a few bowls and then freeze the rest.

I am creating... I finished the back and both sides of the front of the little sweater, I started the sleeves last night. Hopefully, both sleeves will be completed by tonight, so then I can sew the pieces together.

I am going... Hopefully now where, today.

I am reading... I finished all the books that I borrowed from the library. I'll have to got Tuesday to pick up more. I am reading my Bible. I've also picked up where I left off in Beautiful in God's Eyes by Elizabeth George. Since she is not a KJV only author, I tend to put the book down quiet a bit.

Around the house... Mount Washmore is completed and put away. I have some light dusting and vacuuming to finish up this morning, before getting started on the spinning.

A few plans for the rest of the week... Nothing for today. We have church tomorrow, and then school on Monday.

Here is picture for thought I am sharing...

This is a picture that my husband did for our mission display board. I like it so much that it will be used in our Christmas cards, this year.
