Discouragement, we’ve all experienced it and it’s not enjoyable. It usually hits when we are overwhelmed with things going on in our life. These are the times when you feel like giving up, crawling in the bed and pulling the covers over your head. We’ve all been there and if we are not careful, this discouragement grows into a huge mess.
Do you know the signs of discouragement?
Apathy – you’ve lost your passion for what you are doing
Hopelessness – you no longer believe you’ll reach your goals
Sleeplessness – you don’t sleep restfully
Negative Thoughts – thoughts that go against the Bible
These are just four things to be aware of since there are many signs of discouragement. Everyone is different, so things may look differently for you.
Discouragement plays on our emotions and our body. In these times, we need to stop and focus on the One who can help us through it.
