A Bragging Moment

This year for our son's birthday, my husband shot some photos of him.   I love watching my husband work. When he is shooting, he is a perfectionist. Photography is a God given talent for him.

He learned all the techniques while using film. When digital cameras started popping up, he swore he would never have one, since the cameras are designed to do all the work for the eye.  It's funny how we eat our words, some times. My husband does have a digital camera, in fact he has two. I've been tinkering with learning and all I can say is, I don't have it, not like he does. I'm so thankful for my PHD (push here dummy) camera, even if my pictures don't turn out like his. ~

  1. nice looking son and your husband does a great job - he did have a pretty good subject though :)

I like digital so much. I am a terrible photographer, so I like being able to take 20 shots of something guessing that at least one of them will be OK.
and tightwad that i am, you can beat the price of digital as opposed to film and developing

  2. Thank you, Rhonda. I think he is quite handsome and will look like his Dad when he is older.

My husband bought my digital camera after much pleading and spending tons of money daily baby shots. When he bought his first one, it was on a trial basis and after spending about two weeks with it. He decided he liked it.

When we were first married, we would drop off at least 20 rolls of film each week. It's a good thing he had a deal with the developers. I can't remember what the deal was, but he stood there and picked out the good ones and left the ones he did not want.

Thinking back on all that, I'm glad he has a digital camera.
