Seeing The Light of the Morning
Seeing all the beauty God created in the sky is amazing. Watching every morning as the planets line-up is thrilling to this astronomy lover. But there is something about The Light of the Morning when it floods the earth. I’m not a morning person, but having the opportunity to watch the light as it comes over the horizon is special. I can’t imagine missing out on one of the most beautiful displays created by God.

With each morning comes a new day with a fresh start. No matter how dark our night has been when the light of the morning begins to shine, we know there is a new day ahead and how we choose to live it is up to us. Yes, there are going to be uncontrollable things to happen, but how we accept those things is what matters. Will we keep our faith in the Lord, or will we lose our faith in Him? I can only pray I keep my faith in Him and not lose out because of Satan.
Then came the morning, night turned into day;
The stone was rolled away, hope rose with the dawn.
Then came the morning, shadows vanished before the sun,
Death had lost and life had won, for morning had come.
The stone was rolled away, hope rose with the dawn.
Then came the morning, shadows vanished before the sun,
Death had lost and life had won, for morning had come.
Hi Lori, the pictures you shared are adorable!
ReplyDeleteGod is good no matter how dark the night is the morning breaks through the darkness and the light shines through.
The enemy can't hold us back because God's light shines even when it seems the darkness won't go away.
Lovely thoughts, friend.
God Bless
Lori, Thank you so much for featuring my post today. You've totally blessed my day! I love taking the time to watch God's simple yet glorious beauty in the rising and setting of the sun. Thank you for sharing this wonderful reminder.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful reminder of God's majesty and power Lori! I love the pictures...they are amazing! I feel protected when I rest in the light of the Savior protecting me from the enemy.
ReplyDeleteGod's artwork is truly amazing! Thank for hosting this linkup!
ReplyDeleteHi, Renee. Thanks for visiting and commenting. I look forward to reading the link you shared.
ReplyDeleteHey, Horace! I love the beauty here. I tell everyone who talks about visiting, they will not want to go back home. We serve an amazing God who shares His handiwork with us, that is blessing!
ReplyDeleteHello, Ifeoma. God IS good! I'm so thankful to know Him and I'm thankful for the blessings He gives to me daily.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome, Deb. I am so thankful God shares His work with us, the beauty He creates is amazing.
ReplyDeleteLori, I am a morning person I love getting up and praying and reading my Bible while the house is still quite. Then I go out on the back porch and watch the sun come up, so peaceful and beautiful even here in Auburn!
ReplyDeleteLori, It sounds absolutely gorgeous there! I have never traveled in that area. Someday, though! One of my favorite verses is Psalm 30:5 -"There may be pain in the night, but joy comes in the morning." There is always a new fresh start on the other side of darkness!
ReplyDeleteBlessings and smiles,
Lori
Montana is a most Beautiful State!I love your pictures, I'm thankful the Lord let me see some His handiwork when we visited you in 2014.
ReplyDeleteYou were a good example for me, Momma.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you were able to come too. I hope you'll be able to come back again.
ReplyDeleteI hope you get to visit one day. It is more beautiful in western Montana, but there is definitely something about the openness we have here on this side of the state. Psalm 30:5 is one of my favorites also. It is a beautiful reminder of the freshness of the new day.
ReplyDeleteI read this just in time to catch the sunrise this morning. I think I will step outside and sit in my thinking chair and watch the light of the morning. Glad to be your neighbor at #coffeeforyourheart.
ReplyDeleteGlad i found you today on women with intention because it led me to your link-up which i don't think I've visited. so glad to be here and will check out your new link this week.

ReplyDeleteHi, Debbie.I'll be looking forward to seeing your link.
ReplyDeleteHi, Kelly. Before we moved back to Georgia, I enjoyed sitting outside before the sun came up. I'll be carried off by mosquitoes if I did it here. Thanks for visiting.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful words and pictures. I love the sunrise and how God paints it different every day!
ReplyDeleteLori, I am a gazer and find God all around too so this post touches my heart so much! Love all your photos and thank you for sharing with us! This is my first time here and I am so glad I have found you, friend. Thanks for linking up too!
ReplyDeleteMe too, Sarah. Thanks for stopping by.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Meghan.
ReplyDeleteNothing like a gorgeous sunrise or sunset. I could gaze forever at them. Especially over the ocean. Thanks for sharing this over at the #HeartforOthers Link up.
ReplyDeleteHi Lori! I'm visiting from the #heartforothers link up and thank you for visiting my blog as well. I love Montana and have family there - there is a reason it's called Big Sky Country! Beautiful! We often hang on God's "mercies new every morning" (Lam 3:22-23) but I like to go further than that because our God is bigger than that. His mercy is new every moment ... we need not wait until morning! Thanks for a great post!
ReplyDeleteI love that, Felecia, I'm thankful for those new mercies every moment. Yes, there is a very beautiful reason why Montana is called Big Sky Country. Thank you for visiting.
ReplyDeleteIt's been several years since I've been to the ocean and I can't wait to visit again. Thanks for visiting.
